$11.5 Million Verdict for Undiagnosed Spinal Infection

$11.5 million verdict to a plaintiff who presented to an upstate hospital with a spinal infection and epidural abscesses that were neither timely diagnosed nor properly treated,  resulting in the plaintiff being rendered a quadriplegic. The defendants were not offering a fair settlement, requiring the case to be tried. After a verdict, the defendants appealed the case but lost.
