$150,000 Settlement for Child’s Injury at Private Pre-School

$150,000 for an infant suffering from autism, whose femur was fractured while in a private pre-school. In this matter a child was put on a school bus and sent to school for several hours each day. When he left his house, he was fine. When he returned on the bus, the bus driver told the mother that her son had been heavily crying since he picked him up at school and put him on the bus, and that she might want to take him to a doctor. Once at a medical office, it was determined that his thigh bone had been fractured. The school provided police with their video feeds but didn’t have film of him entering or exiting the bus, using the bathroom, or attending physical therapy. We convinced the Court that if a student is being supervised by a school, especially when he is a minor and disabled, any injury that occurs on their watch is their responsibility.
