The incident resulted in a passenger in the car going into cardiac arrest. She was taken to an area hospital but died soon after. Both drivers and a second passenger in the car all suffered injuries that were not considered life-threatening, and they were all taken from the scene for treatment. The incident was still under investigation at the time of the report.
